The Kaw Valley Quilters Guild in Lawrence, Kansas, has more than 200 members representing many communities in northeast Kansas and the Kansas City metropolitan area. We have a day meeting and a night meeting each month so that everybody can attend.
We are currently holding meetings at Plymouth Congregational Church, 925 Vermont, Lawrence, Kansas. We have meetings monthly at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening and at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The monthly meeting is scheduled for the Monday/Tuesday during the week of the 3rd Tuesday each month.
We are an educational, non-profit organization with the purpose of stimulating an interest in quilts and promoting and advancing the knowledge of quilting in all its forms.
Benefits of membership include a monthly newsletter, block of the month patterns, opportunities to hear guest speakers, fantastic workshops, camaraderie and more.
